Synopsis
At the hospital, Daniel pulls Jennifer into a passionate kiss, then proceeds to lay bare his feelings for her in an attempt to win her back. But knowing what she must do to ensure he is allowed to raise his son, Jennifer rebuffs his advances. As Chloe watches with approval, Jennifer tells him he needs to accept the fact that she doesn’t love him. As a crowd gathers (including a horrified Maggie), Jennifer humiliates Daniel, making it clear she never wants to see him again. Hating what she had to do, Jennifer rushes home, where she encounters a livid Maggie. Meanwhile, a devastated Daniel goes back to his apartment, where Chloe offers her “sympathies.” Vulnerable and hurting, he pulls her into a surprising, intense kiss. Lucas confronts Sami, having heard she moved into the DiMera mansion. He vows to seek full custody so Allie so she won’t have to live at the mansion. Sami blurts she moved in for Will’s sake and reveals the plan to ask for Stefano’s help. Lucas has major reservations, but ultimately comes around. Later, he runs into Nick, who is twigged by his cousin’s calm demeanor. Meanwhile, Sami confides to EJ she told Lucas of the plan. While EJ isn’t thrilled, they work past their argument and end up in a kiss. Earlier, EJ drops by the rectory and meets Vargas. Nick, having been summoned by Vargas, has to hide to avoid being seen. Once EJ leaves, Vargas informs Nick he’s about to get his hands on the money Nick made for him in prison. He wants Nick to use the money to make him even wealthier. Abigail and Chad secretly follow Cameron back to his apartment. Hoping to get Cameron to explain why he’s been lying about working extra shifts at the hospital, Abigail knocks on his door. Cameron apologizes but he can’t talk right now – though he assures his distant behavior has nothing to do with her being a virgin. Abigail is mortified when she realizes Chad overheard. They later spy Cameron leaving his apartment with a gun. They trail him to a club in Chicago, but once inside, they lose track of him and leave. After they exit, Cameron takes the stage – as a stripper!
