Synopsis

A look at the work of South African artist William Kentridge who first became well known for making hand-drawn animations featuring a pair of alter egos, set in the urban-industrial landscape of Johannesburg.Felix in Exile (1994) reflects the increasing political violence and civil unrest in South Africa as Apartheid came to an end.
