Synopsis

On the brink of turning forty, Raffaella decides to make a change and gives up dancing, her first love, to become a TV host. Despite general skepticism, "Pronto Raffaella" is a smashing hit. Carrà enters Italian homes and becomes the country's most popular woman. The public worships her as she becomes the target of TV and newspapers and is even accused of abandoning her sick mother. However, Raffaella, known to everyone as "La Carrà," wants to put herself on the line and continues experimenting with new shows abroad and in Italy. She returns to success with "Carramba," reaching the peak of her career, and also manages to come to terms with her past, once and for all.
