Le gangster August Kolodney a été condamné à mort par ses rivaux. Aux abois, il fait appel à un certain Dr. Glendon, qui lui propose un sanctuaire contre forte rémunération. Mais une grande surprise attend Kolodney quand il découvre la très particulière collection de trophées du Dr. Glendon.
