Histoires de timbres is a French documentary series created by Christophe Gaillard, exploring the stories behind postage stamps. From the moment they were created in 1849, to this day, stamps are presenting important historical figures and events, as well as artworks and monuments. Each two-minute long episode reveals an amazing tale from the rich heritage of this nation, through animation, archival footage and narration. Discover the history of France in a fun and unique way, through these small images that hide big stories.
