Synopsis
Ichigo Kurosaki tries to remove the impaled sword from the Soul King and save his life, but the Quincy blood inside of Ichigo suddenly takes control of his body and causes him to slay the Soul King instead. With the Soul King dead, the three worlds start to collapse. As the anomaly continues, Kisuke Urahara and the other Soul Reapers are at a loss to devise an immediate countermeasure until Jushiro Ukitake steps in, claiming he will take the Soul King’s place. Meanwhile, Shunsui Kyoraku heads down to the Central Underground Great Prison to carry out his plan to overcome the current crisis.
