Synopsis
Chad figures out that Stefano is behind Sami’s legal woes. EJ confirms and reveals some of his hatred for his father. He tells his brother they won’t have to worry about him much longer. Privately, EJ speaks with Justin, noting today is the day he’s bringing down Stefano for good. Sami is stunned when she learns the charges against her. However, Justin is still confident about her appearance before the grand jury. He advises her to stick to the truth – not knowing Sami isn’t being entirely forthcoming. Earlier, Adrienne continues to argue with Justin over his decision to represent Sami. Justin accuses his wife of tearing apart their family. Adrienne goes to Sonny and Will to apologize. Will is deeply touched when he overhears Sonny telling his mom how much he loves him. Abe confirms to Jennifer that JJ was shoplifting. Jennifer’s deeply upset, her confidence in her son shaken. She’s relieved when Abe reveals the storeowner will not be pressing charges. At home, Jennifer’s so angry with her son she nearly falls apart. Meanwhile, Daniel puts Anne on notice about causing trouble for Jennifer. He then runs into Abigail and tells her about JJ’s arrest. Later, Daniel finds Jennifer shaken. He comforts her, and they end up kissing. JJ witnesses this and figures out how to play this to his advantage.
