Synopsis
Kayla reveals to EJ her theory that Bernardi wasn’t killed by the bullet from Sami’s gun – something or someone else may have been responsible. She will know more once they do another autopsy on the deceased. Meanwhile, Sami is touched when Lucas and Will show their support. Later, EJ arrives and gives Sami the potentially good news. Stefano is able to truthfully tell Chad he did not send Bernardi to kill Rafe. Chad is confused, not knowing what to believe since his father gave his word as a DiMera. He relays this to Kate, who is also confused. Brent invites Sonny on a hiking trip but he declines, wanting to be around to support Will. Will overhears and worries he’s preventing Sonny from having the life he truly wants. Cameron consults Kayla about Chad’s CT scan. Nick tries to make amends with Rafe, who isn’t entirely receptive. Later, Vargas advises Nick not to let his past with Jensen define him.
