El Barco : Épisode 3 (2011)

Synopsis

The captain tries, as far as possible, to keep the routine onboard the ship, but things get complicated when a passenger plane crashes in the water nearby. At the speed it entered the water, it's unlikely they would find any survivors, but the sonar keeps transmitting so the black box must be recovered whatever it takes. Though De la Cuadra doesn't like the idea, only Ulises is qualified to retrieve the black box, as the signal is coming from 300 feet beneath the surface. Vilma's pregnancy has complications and she needs to go to a hospital. When Palomares hears that the captain has decided not to go back to port and to a hospital, he goes into a rage and a mutiny begins to form on board. To keep the details of the situation from the kids, they have been banned from the deck. Locked in their cabins, the boys entertain themselves eavesdropping on the girls talking. Piti sends Estela a love message in morse code, but she thinks it's from Ramiro, who she actually likes, and agrees to meet him. Valeria has been hearing strange noises all day and she can't help but remember a story her mother told her about "pirate ghosts": souls of dead sailors that lurk in the ship. The captain, trying to learn how to react in his new role as a father, tells Valeria of a way to scare away the ghosts…
