Synopsis
EJ is relieved when Sami accepts his proposal. They run into Lucas, who half-heartedly congratulates them. The happy couple rushes home, where they make love. Gabi talks to Rafe about the stunt Kate pulled. When Rafe defends Kate a little too well, Gabi realizes they’re an item. Rafe corrects her – they are no longer together. Gabi encourages her brother to find love, and he later offers Kate a peace offering… Earlier, Kate is inwardly irked when Lucas notes Rafe will never find another love like Sami. Vargas summons Nick for an update on their deal. Reluctant Nick reveals he has some prospects for Vargas’ money. Later, Nick assures Gabi he is going to make sure their future is perfect. His intensity scares her, but he manages to reel it back a little. Kristen is affected when John presents her with her old Salem Moose jersey. She’s reminded how coaching the little league team with John is what first brought them together. Later, Kristen freaks when Stefano reveals what Sy did with the incriminating photo of her. Meanwhile, Marlena and Brady come close to opening Sy’s envelope. But they are distracted by Hope, who informs Brady the trail on Sy has gone cold.
