Synopsis
After Jensen shoots Will, he trains his gun on Nick. Hope arrives in time to stop Jensen, killing him with one shot. She frees Nick and has an unconscious Will helicoptered off the island. At the same time, Gabi, Sonny and the newborn baby (Arianna Grace) are discovered by the police and taken back to Salem. At the hospital, Daniel worries about how much blood Will has lost and rushes him into surgery. When Gabi and Sonny arrive they’re both hit hard when they learn Will is in critical condition. Gabi’s whisked away with her baby to get checked out. Sami, EJ, Justin, Lucas, Kate and Marlena all arrive, very concerned. When Sami hears Will was shot trying to save Nick, she loses it and attacks Nick. Nick, who’s crushed by what’s happened to his cousin and wrecked by the reminder of what Jensen did to him in prison, doesn’t defend himself. Vargas arrives and finds Nick, who remains devastated. Daniel finally manages to stabilize Will. Sonny is allowed to see him, and he clings to the hope that he’ll be all right. Before getting word about the tragedy, EJ finalizes details with Justin to steal the family business from Stefano. Meanwhile, Kate lets Sami know just how much she and Rafe cared for one another.
