Synopsis
Nicole admits to Eric she was sleeping with Brady. She quickly realizes she can use this to throw him off the track regarding her true feelings for him and declares she doesn’t take relationships seriously. Eric is a bit shocked, and Nicole is privately pained by the lie. Meanwhile, Kristen has blurted that she refuses to work with Eric on the scholarship program. Once Father Matt leaves, Brady insists she take on the project, pointing out she can win over Eric – and having him on their side could really help other people (i.e. his family) accept that they are back together. Kristen reluctantly agrees, but later consults with Dr. Chyka, who affirms working side by side with Eric should not trigger his memories. Later, Kristen shows up at the church, and despite his reservations, Eric welcomes her aboard. He leaves, and Kristen runs into Nicole – and gleefully announces her new position. At the same time, Maggie is horrified when Brady informs her that he is starting over with Kristen. A confused Daniel questions Jennifer – he knows she’s talked to both Maxine and JJ and yet did not tell either of them that she and Daniel have reunited. Are they back together or not? Jennifer phumphers a bit, then finally suggests they continue to see each other – but only in private so as not to upset JJ. Daniel refuses to sneak around and storms off. Earlier, Jennifer avoids telling JJ about her reunion with Daniel. Later, JJ catches up with his cousin Will, offering moral support. Bev arrives, and once Will is gone, JJ comes up with a mysterious plan for their date. Theresa argues with Caroline but quickly regrets her outburst, assuring her grandmother she loves her. Theresa later mistakenly believes Daniel is asking her out but soon learns the symphony tickets are for her and a guest. Theresa decides to scalp the tickets and use the money to buy drugs.
