Synopsis
After covering with Eric, Kristen calls Jennifer over and tells her the news – she’s not pregnant. While Kristen is relieved, Jennifer astutely notes she must also feel a loss. After Jennifer leaves, Kristen calls her again, this time getting her friend to promise never to tell anyone, including Daniel, about her fling. If Brady ever found out, it would destroy their relationship. As Kristen says this, she’s unaware Marlena walked in and has overheard! Earlier, Victor convinces Marlena to work with him to break up Brady and Kristen. Later, Marlena goes to Eric and subtly digs for info. She’s appalled when he insists Kristen may be changing for the better. Daniel and Jennifer’s kiss is interrupted when they hear JJ in the corridor. Jennifer urges Daniel to hide, and he balks. He refuses to sneak around. Meanwhile, JJ has been sidetracked by Theresa, who informs him she’s found another guy. Later, Theresa drops by Daniel’s and makes it clear she’s interested in him. In response, he kindly but firmly makes it clear he is not interested in her – and never will be. Later, Daniel confides in Eric his problems with Jennifer. Chad surprises Abigail with a sweet gesture. She’s about to tell him she’s chosen Cameron, but he cuts her off, asking her to be his date to the grand opening of the club. He slyly points out Cameron encouraged him to spend more time with Abigail. Covering her hurt, she says yes, then confides her confusion to Kayla. Later, Chad taunts Cameron about his date. Earlier, Cameron tells Kayla about Chad’s diagnosis. She warns it’s critical health-wise for Chad to have a positive attitude.
