Synopsis

The Polar Star crew find an unexpected journey companion, in the form of a stowaway hidden in the ship. Scared and hurt, Cristóbal confesses he has been hiding since the cataclysm happened. The doctor will have to treat the boy’s wounds immediately, as he is in a bad state. What or who is Cristóbal hiding from? What is scaring him enough to risk his health and endanger his own life? No one expects that it's not only Cristóbal who is fighting for survival. Everyone is in danger. Ulises finds out that someone has tampered with the cables in the engine room, attaching them to sticks of dynamite. A few minutes later, De la Cuadra also discovers that the bridge has been sabotaged. They have tampered with the helm and left a message reading: "Don't move, danger". If someone touches the helm or tries to change course, the ship will blow up. Meanwhile, Ramiro is also fighting to survive. Gamboa thinks he betrayed him by building, without asking him, a tracking beacon to attach to the duck. He won't tolerate acts of insubordination and he knows how to prevent more: by killing Ramiro, who, after a brutal beating, will bleed internally to death, leaving no trace. Dying and defenceless, Ramiro convinces Gamboa to give him another chance, he can still deactivate the tracking beacon. He has eight hours to keep his promise. Piti, unaware of the real danger they're facing, is obsessed with the strange noises heard on the ship that disturb his sleep. Sneaky footsteps, the sound of something heavy dragged on the floor and an annoying metallic echo that, in his opinion, can only mean that there's a ghost in the Polar Star's corridors. Piti decides to follow those noises, helped by Valeria, who disappears mysteriously during the investigation. Under threat of being blown up and with a new crewmate, the Polar Star celebrates that it left port two months ago. On a day like today, its educational and scientific mission was supposed to end, and all of them would go back home with their families and loved ones. Now, all the crew are content surviving one day more to check what new mystery awaits tomorrow.
