El Barco : Épisode 12 (2011)
Synopsis
Ulises takes advantage of the teacher's absence to sneak into his cabin and look around, but Estela catches him red-handed. The girl doesn't hesitate to tell Gamboa about it. Gamboa threatens to reveal Ulises’ secret, and the stowaway decides to run away on the Russian ship. Ainhoa sneaks in because she wants to leave with him. They can't live apart, but it seems they are not alone. Meanwhile, Gamboa says there are six more ships in Project Alexandria. The captain can't believe his eyes: in front of them, anchored half a mile away, there's a ship that is identical to the Polar Star. It's very unusual that the first large ship they encounter after the cataclysm is identical to theirs, even more so because it also has a star name. It can't be a coincidence. They try to contact the other ship, but no one answers, so they presume that there are no survivors. Julia insists in ignoring the ship and keeping sailing southwest to find the duck's trail, believing that only Manolito can guide them to land. The captain, however, believes they should do a recon mission. If there's no survivors, at least they could get some food, fuel and other essential goods which are almost running out in the Polar Star. He can't understand the doctor's persistence. It seems like, once again, she knows more than she is saying. In the end, they set off on their expedition. When they arrive on the ship, what they find is disheartening. Everything is covered in blood and there are bits of rope that point to several people being held against their will. Vilma tries to fight against her feelings for Palomares, who begins to believe their love is mutual. Piti, however, is unaware of how close they are getting.
