Synopsis

Julia decides to leave all her involvement in Project Alexandria for Ricardo. Víctor reappears to trade: Bubble and De la Cuadra for the black box. Encouraged by the background music that plays in the mess deck, the younger crewmembers on the Polar Star begin to sing and dance. Soon enough, the mood spreads until the entire ship joins in the rhythm of the music. However, the captain is overwhelmed by the first officer's disappearance, of which the rest of the crew is still unaware, and reacts by yelling at the kids, telling them off. He immediately realises how out of place his reaction was, and to make amends and keep the sailors entertained, he asks Salomé to organize a musical performance that night. Vilma and Palomares become improvised lead characters after Piti, who was going to be one of the main actors, decides to quit. The young man begins to understand he is the third wheel in this improvised trio. The attraction between Palomares and Vilma is more than obvious. Vilma is confused and, as they spend more time alone, both unleash their passion until Estela interrupts them. Estela, like Piti, doesn't care much for the lead couple in the musical. After the talk she had in her cabin with Palomares, she thought a relationship could be blooming between them, but the realisation that she was mistaken again will be a hard blow for her, as she doesn’t know how to deal with it. While the dancers at the Polar Star prepare for their musical debut, they are still unaware of what happened few hours before on the deck. Someone attacked Sol, the student in charge of the night watch, and kidnapped De la Cuadra. The culprits were scuba divers that came to the ship under the darkness of night and have now escaped at full speed on their motorboats. Overwhelmed by the situation, the captain knows that Julia could have the answers he needs and this time he plans to get them, by force if necessary. Gamboa and the captain decide to anchor, count everyone in case there's someone else missing and wait for news from the kidnappers. Until then, they decide to keep it secret in order to stop panic from spreading. They are particularly careful with Salomé, as they think she could be pregnant, and a shock like this could have fatal consequences.
