Synopsis
The captain tries to discover with Bubble where he and De la Cuadra were held hostage, and between them they conclude that there's a nuclear submarine near them. Meanwhile, Gamboa and Estela have a date and we discover that Bubble's accident wasn't such. Bubble has a secret: he has been hiding the duck Manolito for several days now. Since he found its tracking signal again, he has been following the animal's movements and it always go back to sleep at the same spot, where it rests for several hours. It has to be a fixed surface – it can't be a ship, or it would oscillate. Therefore, if his calculations are not mistaken, they have found land and it's close. That's not the only key information Bubble hides in his head. Pressured by his captain, he remembers his kidnapping and tells the captain his conclusion: they were locked inside a military submarine and it's still following them. De la Cuadra tries to recover from his breakup with Salomé. The first officer has no other option than to move back to the boys' cabin, but when he gets there, he finds a big mess. Overwhelmed by the personal situation he's going through, De la Cuadra gets angry and reviews all the students of the Polar Star. Piti, Ramiro and Palomares are not willing to have the first officer as their roommate and pretend to be gay to make him uncomfortable. Gamboa seems to be interested in winning Estela over with gifts and compliments, something that rings all alarm bells for Salomé, who doesn't trust the teacher's intentions. However, it seems that this time Gamboa wants to make things right and, following Salomé's advice, he asks Estela for a proper date. During the romantic dinner, Gamboa confesses to Estela the real reason for their meeting.
