Synopsis

The crew return to the building and discover there's no one there. Not even Ulises. While they were waiting for them to arrive, the French ship got to the hotel first with dubious intentions. Marimar, Bubble's ex-girlfriend, warns him that everything is a trap and they want to kill them all, though nothing will happen to him. The students confirm that, as they suspected, they're not alone on the island. Two people hidden behind gas masks shot at them while they were rescuing Vilma from the trap she was caught in. They must escape this trap of an island, but the Polar Star is 200 miles away. It went to get the survivors that stayed in the hotel. The only way to get back safely to the palm grove is with undercover help: the camp's cow, who goes freely into the island each morning. They set up a camera on its head – a "cowcam". Meanwhile, on the ship they have their own problems. They wake up in the morning surrounded by stuff from the building, as if the hotel has blown up and the remains are drifting. Something has clearly happened. The Polar Star's attempts to contact the building are fruitless. They don't answer calls or flares, and despite being so close, they can’t contact them through shortwave either. There's no one looking out from the windows or on the roof. It's like they’re arriving at a graveyard. When they finally enter the building, their suspicions are confirmed: there's no one there, no trace of the survivors. Valeria and Mouse are sad because they are finishing the chocolate and they know they will never find more. Ramiro, trying to cheer them up, tells them that if they plant the remaining crumbs of chocolate, they will grow a chocolate bar plant. Though the young sailor thinks he did a good deed, Ventura shows him he's wrong. Kids are not dumb, and they don't forget. What will he tell them when they realise nothing is growing? It's Gamboa's birthday and, to make him feel loved, Estela wants the captain to give him a gift. She prepares everything to make it look like the captain's idea, but she can't imagine that, while she's wrapping the gift, the captain and Gamboa are literally shooting each other.
