Synopsis
In order to battle Leon again, Ash officially enters the new season of the World Coronation Series, though he must win his way up the ranks to reach Leon in the Master Class. Ash arrives at the Vermillion Gym to face his old opponent Lt. Surge. However, with Lt. Surge away, the gym is now being run by Visquez, whom becomes Ash's first World Coronation Series' Normal Class opponent. Their battle is a two-on-two match, with Pikachu and Gengar facing Visquez's Raichu and Electrode. Ash emerges victorious, rising to 3,763 in the WCS.
